So here i am writing my first official blog. Alright, I won't write very often, because video is way better for a guy like me. Not very articulate. However, in lieu of the pending end times I decided to write about it.
The verse "repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is near", is a powerful verse for me today. To think that the early church believed that Jesus was coming back in their life time and they rocked at sharing the gospel and living full out. They shared all they had, met in the temple every day to pray - it was awesome. But they were thinking the lord was coming back - soon.
Well, I am beginning to understand. I am making changes in how i live, where i invest my time, my energy, my future. I don't want to be a fool, but a fool for my king? I am in. The urgency inside of me is screaming to tell people the good news about Jesus, to really love them. I don't have 50 years to walk with them. Before the end times come, there is supposed to be a major revival in the land. That could be as soon as 10-15 years. That is really soon. There are a lot of seeds that need to be planted, a lot of land that needs to be harvested, people need to be set free, healed, alive.
Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is near. The lord is coming back. How do you live? where do you put your money? I figure i want to invest in the local church; i want to invest into world evangelism organizations (the gospel needs to be in every nation); into his kingdom.
So live, for the time is now. Prepare, for he is coming back! don't wait and have no oil left in your lamp. Grow in intimacy every day. !!
